We started the day with some delicious pancakes in Cody - Bob had plain ones, whereas I had strawberry, banana and nutella (whipped cream was offered but I thought that a bit much). Before long, on another scenic byway, we were driving through the Bighorn forest and mountains - up to over 10,000 ft. We were seeking a stopping-off point to look an a traditional medicine wheel. After driving 3 miles up a unsurfaced road on the top of a mountain we came to the parking for the trail. Within minutes I was up to my knees in deep snow, including losing my shoe, so sadly we had to give that a miss.

Onward and eventually we did get to an interstate that took us quickly to where we are staying overnight. This is just a stop really on the way to Deadwood for tomorrow, but a lovely drive with great music playing; Bruce, Van and some good ole country tunes.
