Today reinforced just how much we love road-tripping in the States. We are now heading towards Utah and unexpectantly the route - Highway 24 (aka The Top of the Rockies) was full of the most amazing views, not to say quite challenging for the driver. I have forgotten how many stops we made just to stand and wonder at the scene before us. We drove high into the Rockies - snow all around and topped out at 13237 ft. and had good music playing.

Just before our our overnight stop in Glenwood Springs we drove through Glenwood Canyon and Bob videoed this spectacular road, so no photos unfortunately and this platform does not support video uploads :-(

On reaching Glenwood Springs we visited a small museum (we love these - they always have unexpected / quirky exhibits) - see the photo for a reminder of home.

Another recommended place was to visit Doc Holliday's grave in the cemetery above the town. We liked this; worth the steep trek up the hillside.

Tonight we had the first of probably quite a few steak dinners!
